How Teqqed collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data.
Who we are and what this policy covers
Teqqed is responsible for personal data when we determine why and how it is processed. This policy covers our website, inquiries, newsletter, client relationships, recruitment conversations, and related business activities. Contact hello@teqqed.com with privacy questions.
Personal data we collect
We may collect contact, professional, communication, proposal, contract, billing, transaction, newsletter, project, device, browser, referral, usage, approximate-region, and security information. We do not intentionally request special-category data through the public website.
Where data comes from
Data may come directly from you, organizations you represent, website and communication tools, public professional sources, referral partners, providers, and systems a client authorizes us to access.
Why we use personal data
We process data to respond to inquiries, assess fit, prepare proposals, perform agreements, manage projects and payments, provide resources, communicate, improve and secure our services, comply with law, and establish or defend claims. We do not sell personal data.
Legal bases
Where GDPR applies, processing relies on contract and pre-contract steps, legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and improving the business, or consent where required. Consent can be withdrawn and direct marketing can be objected to at any time.
How we share data
Data is shared where necessary with infrastructure, analytics, communication, scheduling, CRM, accounting, payment, document, development, security, professional-advisory, and authorized collaboration providers, or with authorities where legally required.
International transfers
Where data is processed outside the EEA, we use a lawful mechanism such as an adequacy decision, European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, or another permitted safeguard with supplementary measures where appropriate.
How long we keep data
Data is retained only as long as needed for its purpose, security, disputes, and legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Typical periods vary: inquiries are reviewed after two years, newsletter data remains until unsubscribe or inactivity, and client records may be retained for seven years or as legally required.
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use technologies needed for operation and security. Non-essential analytics or marketing technologies will be described through an appropriate notice or consent mechanism where required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards including access controls, authentication, limited permissions, trusted infrastructure, backups, and contractual measures, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information; object to legitimate-interest processing or direct marketing; withdraw consent; and complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
Children
The website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data.
Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when practices, services, or legal requirements change. The effective date is August 31, 2026. Questions and requests can be sent to hello@teqqed.com.
