Case study
Localtalent.now
Making skilled people easier to discover close to home, with a clear path from local search to a professional profile.

Overview
Localtalent.now is a platform for finding professionals by expertise and location. It brings local discovery, specialist profiles, and direct conversations into one experience for people who need help and people who offer it.
The interface keeps the focus on the professionals and the places they work, so visitors can move from a broad need to someone relevant nearby.

Challenge
Finding local expertise often means searching across directories, social profiles, and personal referrals. Categories can be too broad, while a location alone says little about the work a person actually does.
Professionals also need a way to present their work clearly without building a separate website before they can be discovered.
Approach
We organized discovery around two useful questions: what kind of help do you need, and where do you need it? Category and location pages lead into a directory of specialists, while individual profiles give each person room to explain their experience and show their work.
The product pairs a restrained identity with practical flows for search, profile setup, review, and messaging. Each step should feel approachable for someone listing a service for the first time.

An evolving local platform
Localtalent.now is live and registrations are open. People can browse local expertise, and professionals can create a profile to make their services easier to find. We continue improving the experience as the directory grows.
